What: Volunteer Opportunity Where: Parley’s Historic Nature Park
When: Saturday October 22, 2011, 10:00 am to 11:30 am Join Salt Lake City and citizens to improve Parley’s Historic Nature Park!
10:00 am – 10:15 am: Welcome (Meet at West Creek bridge)
10:15 am – 11:30 am: Service Projects
Volunteer activities will include:
- Native plant restoration
- Weed pull
Address: 2740 S 2700 E Salt Lake City, UT 84112
Directions: From I-80 E, exit 2300 E. Make the first left onto S 2700 E, continue ½ mile.
Parking is available at Tanner Park.
Please wear appropriate attire including gloves, pants, closed-toe shoes, hat, and sun block and bring a water bottle.
